Requirements

Candidates should possess a university graduate degree or equivalent in computer science, along with 6-10 years of experience in roles such as Site Reliability Engineer or Application Support. They should have experience in managing platform capacity, performance throughput, and EOS/EOL, and a strong understanding of Site Reliable Engineer and Application Support processes. Experience in troubleshooting issues, defining supportability, and participating in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is also required. A good understanding of application architecture and the ability to identify proactive measures around resiliency and recovery design are essential.

Responsibilities

The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for capacity management, operational support design, audit preparation, incident escalation, problem management engagement, and disaster recovery design and execution. They will handle high-profile client engagements for designated platforms, provide 2nd line technical support to the TOC, integrate support for Trade Processing applications, liaise with Product, Development, and infrastructure teams, provide technical advisory support, and work closely with delivery teams to ensure platform readiness for new releases. They will also communicate technical resolutions in English and identify gaps to improve overall estate stability.
