Candidates should possess a University graduate degree or equivalent in computer science, along with 6-10 years of experience in roles such as Site Reliability Engineer or Application Support. They should have experience in managing platform capacity, performance throughput, and EOS/EOL, with a background in infrastructure and software. Strong troubleshooting skills, understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and knowledge of Site Reliable Engineer and Application Support processes are also required. A good understanding of application architecture and the ability to identify proactive measures around resiliency and recovery design is essential.
The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for Capacity Management, Operational Support Design, Audit Preparation, Incident Escalation, Problem Management Engagement, DR Design and Execution, and ad hoc High Profile Client Engagement for designated platforms. They will also need to liaise with other teams across Product, Development, and infrastructure, provide technical advisory support to Product and business teams, and work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to ensure supportability of platforms and readiness for new releases. Furthermore, the role involves handling, identifying, and communicating technical resolutions in English, as well as supporting the full suite of OTC Derivative products and FX for post-trade confirmation processing.
