Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in site and/or land development
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certification preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with state, county, and municipal ordinances and standards related to grading, drainage, street improvements, subdivision, and land regulations

Responsibilities

  • Design site development projects from concept/study phases through construction
  • Include layout, grading and drainage, utility design, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, permitting, and regulatory approval
  • Prepare project specifications, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Client interaction and interdisciplinary communication
  • Proposal preparation and fee estimating
