Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in site and/or land development
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification preferred, but not required
Familiarity with state, county, and municipal ordinances and standards related to grading, drainage, street improvements, subdivision, and land regulations

Responsibilities

Design site development projects from concept/study phases through construction
Include layout, grading and drainage, utility design, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, permitting, and regulatory approval
Prepare project specifications, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules
Client interaction and interdisciplinary communication
Proposal preparation and fee estimating
