Requirements

Proven ability to work in a team setting
Ability to effectively interpret blueprints
Effective oral and written communication skills
Effective decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Minimum of 2 years job related experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Responsibilities

Accurately utilize data collection systems
Effectively perform basic assembly and disassembly operations
Use blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices and/or other equipment to ensure conformance to quality specifications
Use precision measuring devices to effectively assemble and/or disassemble final product
Perform preventive maintenance
Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes
Perform 5S Audits
Perform Safety Stop Audits observations
Participate in the CI/PID Process
Perform any duties or tasks that may be assigned to promote cross training or support for various areas of the shop
Follow the Caterpillar Production System (CPS) Standard Work Sheets
Promote a culture based on our Values in Action
Follow established facility safety policies, safe job procedures and hazardous risk assessments and use the proper Personal Protective equipment for the specific job being performed
Work with variety of employees throughout the day to effectively communicate needs and to perform job related tasks
Serve as a positive role model and contribute to team effort by supporting all employees in our organization
Ensure customer requirements are met
Conduct business with the highest level of honesty and integrity
Interface with plant management, supervisors and production personnel
