High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience working in a clerical position in a manufacturing / production environment preferred
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is preferred
Epicor experience preferred
Regular, reliable attendance is required

Responsibilities

Serves as the primary clerical representative for galvanizing shipping purposes
Confirms the accuracy of shipments
Locates and stages shipments to their due date
Performs other clerical duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager
Reviews and verifies documents as related to the shipping process
Confers or corresponds with representatives to schedule reception / delivery of materials
Contacts representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
Records shipment data for recordkeeping purposes
Maintains and updates filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager
