Requirements

  • High School Diploma, General Education or equivalent experience
  • Technical or Vocational Training a plus
  • Experience in shipping, inventory management, or supply chain operations (WMS experience preferred)
  • Strong skills in forecasting, logistics coordination, and inventory management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and external partners
  • Working knowledge of supply chain integration, transportation management, and warehouse best practices
  • Confident using analytical tools, inventory models, and forecasting tools to guide decisions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in drivers; assign dock doors to ensure smooth traffic flow
  • Create transfer orders and allocate products to customer orders using FEFO principles
  • Prepare and issue Bills of Lading (BOL) for shipments
  • Collaborate with the Shipping, Inventory Control, and Customer Service teams to keep processes streamlined
  • Lead collaborative forecasting with Warehouse and Manufacturing teams to develop short- and long-term demand plans
  • Communicate material requirements to Manufacturing for production planning and supply continuity
  • Coordinate loading schedules based on appointments or deadlines to avoid detention charges
  • Maintain and update departmental purchasing reports to support internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with related functions including inventory control, manufacturing support, and management of expired/damaged materials
  • Use analytical tools and reports to optimize inventory and supply flow
