Manufacturing & warehouse experience preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 49 lbs

Ability to read and understand shop orders, various production documents, and both oral and written job instructions
Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Move product from the production line to the warehouse in a quick but safe manner
Prioritize safety as #1
Collaborate closely with other departments and teams
Maintain high regard for 5S
Think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations
Monitor and report quality of manufactured product
Consistently move product and place in designated pack outs throughout the shift
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Perform all duties as designated by supervisor/manager
Perform all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies
Help out other departments as needed
Supply materials to packing areas and pull material for offline
Consistently and accurately fill out appropriate paperwork
Good knowledge of product
Verify inventory levels and assist with inventory
