Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of laser cutting and water jet operations to prepare and deliver high-precision components under the guidance of experienced team members
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models assisted with digital work instructions to assist in the setup and production of aerospace parts
  • Operate metal forming equipment including but not limited to brake presses, shears, English wheels, rollers, and drill presses with the assistance of experienced technicians and leadership
  • Aid in the in-process inspection and measurement of parts using precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and various gauges ensuring parts meet aerospace industry standards and tolerances
  • Help with the setup and basic maintenance of machines, including cleaning and tool changes
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while operating machinery and handling materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Assist in documenting production processes, measurements, and quality control checks as required
