Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering and have 6-10 years of experience as a SharePoint developer. They should hold a Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate certification or a similar qualification. Fundamental knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks is required, along with familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services. High-level coding skills and the ability to solve complex software issues are essential, as well as project management skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation. Additional requirements include US Citizenship, an active DOD Secret clearance, previous experience working with US Navy customers, and exposure to FlankSpeed.
The SharePoint Developer will meet with stakeholders to review website and application requirements and provide feedback based on SharePoint expertise. They will integrate requirements into development actions, set tasks and development goals for SharePoint projects, and configure the company’s SharePoint systems accordingly. The role involves developing new web components using technologies such as XML, .NET, SQL, and C#, designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications within the SharePoint environment, and extending SharePoint functionality by creating forms, web parts, and application technologies. Additionally, the developer will test and debug code to ensure optimal performance, review website interfaces for software stability, troubleshoot software issues, maintain and update SharePoint applications, and provide systems training to staff and customers.
