Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field
Minimum of 2 years in accounting or finance
Knowledge of SAP, general financial reporting software, and applicable power and utilities platforms used for invoicing and recording
Knowledge of accounts receivable (and to a limited extent) accounts payable process
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, such as queries, pivot tables, and formulas, and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products
Written and verbal communication skills that enable effective communication with various groups within the company (particularly the Accounting and Asset Management teams)
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide objectives

Responsibilities

Manage the revenue billing and accounts receivable process for large utility-scale solar and wind plants
Understand contractual stipulations associated with “price” and “quantity” (as these inputs drive settlement activity)
Manage documents and ensure regulatory compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Manage shadow settlements for various ISOs (independent system operators)
Manage the dispute process with the ISO and qualified scheduling entities (QSE)
Manage all assigned ISO processes, including data management, reporting, and timely analysis
Support the Accounting team with various tasks, including recording settlement activity as part of accounting close, managing regulatory filings and audit requests, and performing trend analyses
Handle all revenue billing and cash applications for all large utility-scale solar and wind projects
Provide reports, analyses, trend analyses, or other ad hoc reports as required by both internal and external parties to support legal, regulatory, and commercial requirements
Maintain all documentation related to settlement processes in support of internal and external audits and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Engage in special projects or requests as needed
