Requirements

  • At least 5 years in IT Development experience with 2 or more years working as a ServiceNow developer with extensive experience with one or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HR, and WSD
  • On-call flexibility, including unplanned and planned maintenance and outages
  • Experience in ServiceNow scripting including JavaScript, Angular JS, Bootstrap and Jelly Script
  • Expertise in Web technologies such as Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, etc. (Preferred)
  • Experience using enterprise tools such as Visio or Lucid Chart, Teams, Confluence and Jira
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow mid-server architecture and the role it plays in Discovery optimization (preferred)
  • Experience with ServiceNow’s Common Services Data Model (CSDM) (preferred)
  • Experience working in a regulated environment within a global company (preferred)
  • Exceptional knowledge of ITIL processes or ServiceNow Admin/CMDB Certifications (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform via incident, request and problem resolution
  • Provides day-to-day operational support and maintenance including planned maintenance outages
  • Keep platform updated via regular patching, upgrades and health scan resolutions
  • Develop workflows and catalog items as part of enhancements and projects to meet business needs
  • Monitor and fine tune plugins to achieve optimum performance levels
  • Perform assessments and listen to internal customers to understand and anticipate their business needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise and strategy
  • Provides analysis of problems while working toward solutions to technical issues
  • Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in a specialized area, remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices
  • Act as a Tier-2/3 support for system 7x24x365
