Requirements

5+ years in a facilities, workplace or operations role in real estate and facility management
Ability to be self-sufficient and a team player, using great communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional partners locally and globally
Strong work ethic and eye for detail, with a proven track record of completing complex tasks in resourceful and effective ways
Agility and ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, handling interruptions with an upbeat, professional attitude
Ability to exercise considerable judgement in making recommendations for solutions and resolving issues
Innovation and creativity when identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
Strong understanding of accounting and procurement processes
Strong computer skills, including Canva, Google Suite, Slack and other team software

Responsibilities

Take genuine care and proactive responsibility for the entire workplace, exercising considerable judgement to ensure the office is maintained and ready for use at all times
Act independently and assume responsibility for all initiatives with minimal supervision
Manage the front of house operations and ensure an enjoyable, safe and collaborative place to work and visit for employees, customers, and guests
Ensure all building and Snowflake processes, procedures and regulations are followed, identifying opportunities for improvements to optimize the office space and employee experience
Maintain strong vendor management skills to ensure all vendors are consistently meeting or exceeding Snowflake standards
Independently track operational expenditure, manage associated budgets with efficiency in mind and ensure timely vendor payments
Take the lead on local projects and initiatives, including planning and execution of office-wide events and meetings in addition to Workplace lead events (e.g., holiday parties)
Foster a strong environment of collaboration between cross-functional teams in the office to ensure successful execution of initiatives and manage change
Develop internal communication content and plans for distribution that exemplifies the Workplace brand and mission
