Requirements

Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant design experience in a commercial organization and a proven track record of shipping digital products. Proficiency in Figma or Sketch and UX prototyping skills is required, along with experience in developing and delivering app design for iOS and Android. Strong leadership capabilities to orchestrate complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders are essential, as well as great verbal and written communication skills to present design strategies effectively. Knowledge of accessibility standards, specifically WCAG, is necessary, and experience in AV, mobility, or automotive industries is a bonus.

Responsibilities

The Senior UX/UI Designer will design mobile app interfaces and interactions that are elegant, accessible, intuitive, and delightful, focusing on the needs of riders and other road users. They will create, test, and iterate the app's information architecture, wireframes, and user journeys while collaborating across the company to prioritize and solve design scenarios. The role involves partnering closely with UX Research to design and conduct research studies, leveraging insights to inform product direction. Additionally, the designer will contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Zoox's design systems and principles.
