Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies, experience with test case management and bug tracking tools, and experience leading projects with distributed teams or vendors are also necessary. The ability to quickly learn new technologies and analyze complex software development problems is essential.
The Senior Test Engineer will develop and implement comprehensive test plans for AI features in Firefox using manual and automated testing. They will write, run, and maintain tests, and build tooling and frameworks to improve testing efficiency, including implementing test automation for machine learning algorithms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems, reduce tech debt, and improve code delivery velocity is expected. The role involves prioritizing product testing, managing risks, advocating for robust systems and practices, and representing end-users' interests.
