Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a test engineering role, with at least 3 years using frameworks like Pytest or Selenium. Proven experience in leading AI/ML feature testing, including manual and automated UI testing, is essential. Proficiency in Python or Javascript, strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies, and experience with test case management and bug tracking tools are required. Experience leading projects with distributed teams or vendors and the ability to quickly learn new technologies are also necessary.

Responsibilities

This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive test plans for AI features in Firefox, including writing, running, and maintaining tests. Responsibilities include building tooling and frameworks to improve testing efficiency, implementing test automation for machine learning algorithms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems. The Senior Test Engineer will also prioritize product testing, manage risks, advocate for quality practices, represent end-users' interests, contribute to team culture, and act as a point of contact for vendor teams.
