Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role, such as SDET or Senior Test Engineer, with at least 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience utilizing Selenium or a similar UI testing framework. Proficiency in Python programming is desired, along with knowledge of other scripting languages like Java, JavaScript, or C++. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) frameworks like GitHub Actions or Jenkins is required, and experience leading project delivery with geographically distributed teams or vendor partners is preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex software development problems are also necessary.
As a Lead Test Engineer, you will build tooling and frameworks to simplify and accelerate testing, write, run, and maintain automated tests, create and implement comprehensive test plans to drive test automation initiatives, act as a domain expert to unblock others and provide feedback to junior test engineers, participate in incident response by assisting with investigations and validating builds, collaborate with various teams to solve complex technical problems, reduce tech debt, improve efficiency, and enable the delivery of high-quality code, contribute to a healthy team culture, serve as a go-to person for junior testers, and invest in your own and your peers' growth, and be a strong advocate for testing and quality.
