Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade (or 7 years' experience in one of those trades without certification)
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
  • Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • 1 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial equipment to support Walmart stores
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs within outlined timeframes
  • Conduct training for Store Associates on care and cleaning of equipment
  • Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment)
  • Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
  • Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic information (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs)
