Requirements

  • 10+ years experience working with SW applications running on POSIX Operating Systems (Yocto Linux, QNX, VxWorks), preferably in the Automotive industry
  • Graduate in B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (Software/Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation/Information Technology/Telecommunication)
  • Strong knowledge and solid experience with Software requirements and architecture; tools: Polarion, Enterprise Architect or similar
  • Experience in developing Embedded SW products for the automotive industry, good knowledge of ASPICE processes and SW product lifecycle
  • Proficient in Embedded C/C++ and ARM Cortex A/R/M Based SoCs (e.g., NXP S32G, Jacinto7, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Samsung)
  • Experience with Yocto build system (cmake, bitbake, meta-layer) and version control tools (git, svn)
  • Must have experience with Yocto Linux and QNX
  • Knowledge of project management tool: Jira
  • OTA SW update knowledge
  • Good communication and analyzing skills

Responsibilities

  • Software requirements analysis (SWE.1) for integrating OTA SW Framework on the Aptiv SW platform
  • Software architectural design (SWE.2) necessary for OTA integration
  • Manage system requirements with good knowledge of Polarion and Automotive processes
  • Manage and maintain databases in Polarion
  • Facilitate transfer to customer projects and System groups
  • Interact with SW developers
