Requirements

Advanced knowledge in AI and machine learning, including staying up to date with latest advancements and emerging technologies
Expertise in designing and architecting AI solutions, analyzing business requirements, understanding constraints, and proposing machine learning models and algorithms
Ability to consider scalability, performance, and maintainability in solution design
Experience providing technical guidance, mentorship, code/design reviews, and thought leadership
Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders (e.g., product managers, data scientists, business analysts) and cross-functional teams
Capability to drive continuous improvement, innovation, evaluate/integrate third-party tools, and promote best practices
Skills in facilitating design review sessions and mentoring during reviews
Ability to collaborate with engineering managers and team leads, providing constructive feedback
Proficiency in coordinating meetings, preparing/delivering presentations and reports to non-technical audiences
Competence in interpreting/reporting data findings and maintaining business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards
Experience in designing/developing solutions to complex application problems, system administration, or network issues (where applicable)

Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning, exploring emerging technologies and identifying applications for business problems
Design and architect AI solutions for complex problems, analyzing requirements and proposing models/algorithms
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including best practices, code/design reviews, and overcoming challenges
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure project success
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI/ML practices, identifying improvements and promoting best practices
Evaluate and integrate third-party tools or services to enhance AI solutions
Facilitate design review sessions, ensuring alignment with requirements and best practices; mentor juniors during sessions
Collaborate with engineering manager and team lead to refine design/implementation strategies and provide peer feedback
Participate in and coordinate meetings for effective team communication
Independently prepare and deliver presentations/reports to stakeholders, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Interpret and report data findings; maintain/update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods
Design and develop solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns (where applicable)
