Candidates must possess a United States Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance and have at least 3 years of experience working within US federal agencies and the ServiceNow Government Community Cloud (GCC). A minimum of 5 years of hands-on configuration and development experience with complex technologies, including integrations and portals, is required. Experience with ServiceNow security features like Vault and Edge Encryption, Domain Separation, and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO) is also necessary. Familiarity with SaaS technologies, data management, database design, and self-hosted ServiceNow installations is expected.
The Senior Technical Consultant will act as the functional and technical expert, configuring the ServiceNow Platform according to best practices to achieve customer business outcomes. Responsibilities include creating and delivering platform solutions with consideration for long-term technical architecture and process design, supporting platform-wide process definition and gap analysis through customer workshops, and advising customers on leveraging ServiceNow capabilities to improve their processes. The role involves leading customer design workshops, guiding customers in documentation, drafting technical user stories and acceptance criteria, and overseeing testing and knowledge transfer. Additionally, the consultant will lead technical aspects of project delivery, develop integration components, prepare customer-facing technical deliverables, manage multiple complex projects, promote continuous improvement, support sales activities, and provide training and mentoring to delivery teams and partners. Up to 50% travel is expected.
