Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
  • Hands-on experience with Linux Operating Systems
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in application management, technical support, or a similar environment, preferably within a global organization
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and cloud platforms, including basic networking, virtualization, and cloud deployment models (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Proficiency with automation, scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby, SQL), CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management/infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform
  • Ability to clearly document technical procedures, produce reusable knowledge base articles, and maintain high standards of operational documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail and a highly organized approach to multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on weekends and off hours depending on business needs (to be agreed in advance)

Responsibilities

  • Handle the resolution of sophisticated issues as a second-line role, coordinating between technical teams and partners for rapid and effective problem-solving
  • Supervise operational health, analyze system trends, and find opportunities to optimize resilience and availability
  • Respond to incidents as needed, ensuring both proactive and reactive support
  • Collaborate closely with market operations, client success, and various technology teams to resolve raised issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and drive process improvements that increase reliability and enhance client experience
  • Take ownership of updating and maintaining documentation, such as step-by-step operational procedures, fixing manuals, and quick-reference guides
