Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support, and 3 years of experience specifically working with the Nextgen EHR platform. They must have a strong understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure and security standards, including HIPAA, and demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Administrator will provide technical support for the Nextgen EHR platform, including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues, collaborate with clinical and operations staff to understand workflows and translate requirements into system configurations, develop and maintain documentation for Nextgen EHR processes and configurations, implement and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades, monitor system performance and propose optimization solutions, enforce security policies and best practices, and provide general IT support, including hardware and software troubleshooting, while also participating in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
