Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of tools and systems to manage fleets of end-user devices at scale, including declarative configuration management systems (e.g., JAMF, Mosyle, munki, ManageEngine, Microsoft Intune, Saltstack, Ansible, Chef)
  • Advanced scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge connecting SaaS systems through REST APIs
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD workflows
  • Ideal candidate has many years actively managing endpoint fleets at scale

Responsibilities

  • Manage fleets of end-user devices (macOS, Windows, Linux, etc.), including automated endpoint provisioning/deprovisioning
  • Manage servers, networking equipment, cloud environments, MDM platforms, orchestration software, and a wide range of other IT systems related to end-user devices
  • Automate manual tasks
  • Keep knowledge of these systems current and push out new features as they become available
  • Keep these systems secure and compliant with all applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS)
  • Participate in the on-call rotation; work long/late hours and weekends occasionally
  • Communicate and train IT Support staff
  • Help generate FAQs, user guides, and self-help documentation
