Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with a Master’s degree preferred. They should have at least 10 years of experience developing software for large-scale distributed environments, adhering to industry best practices, and demonstrating a deep understanding of the modern network stack and protocols. Hands-on experience with SDN solutions (control and data planes) and experience with private cloud/large distributed systems architecture design are also required. Experience with RDMA protocols and fabrics, container networking (CNI) APIs, and Tier 1 CSP services is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior System Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and operating next-generation multi-tenant cloud SDN control and data planes software, automating tasks using DevOps practices like CI/CD and GitOps. They will also develop API-driven services for network orchestration and security, contribute to network observability through monitoring and telemetry, and support tenants workloads by enforcing performance SLAs. Furthermore, they will develop software for network acceleration and assist in the design of Infrastructure-as-a-Service virtual network architecture.
