Requirements

  • Proficiency in C++ programming and debugging
  • Full stack development skills - from implementing frameworks and interfaces to understanding hardware impact
  • Passion for optimizing system performance, root causing bottlenecks, and optimizing on GPU, CPU, and memory
  • Strong knowledge of OS fundamentals and familiarity with device driver stacks
  • Knowledge of at least one graphics, video, or image processing library (e.g., Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenCV, or proprietary library)
  • Strong software engineering background and design fundamentals for robust system software
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle-based processes
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, fast to act, eager to learn, and able to guide others
  • Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience developing systems software on Windows/Linux/iOS
  • CUDA programming experience (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineers to implement and optimize software for new capabilities in NVIDIA AI for Multimedia components (e.g., NVIDIA Broadcast & NVIDIA Maxine)
  • Improve existing features and framework architecture for different GPUs, CPUs, and system OS platforms
  • Integrate evolving computer vision SDKs into applications and use cases on different platforms
  • Work on groundbreaking features from proof-of-concept to production
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, partners, and customers
