Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with over 8 years of industry experience in software development on Linux platforms, preferably with a focus on infrastructure. Fluency in C++ and/or Python is required, along with intimate familiarity with object-oriented software design, design patterns, and concurrent programming techniques. Expertise in system-level programming, proven ability to develop robust tools and automation at scale, and proficiency in automated testing using CI/CD systems are essential. Familiarity with the Linux operating system, particularly networking concepts and common server software, is also necessary. Eagerness to learn and use new technologies is expected.

Responsibilities

The Senior System Software Developer will work on integrating NVIDIA's product with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP. They will develop features enabling seamless workload deployment into multiple public clouds and add new features to allow Base Command clusters to support a wider range of workloads and scale to hundreds of thousands of nodes. Responsibilities include staying updated on cloud technology developments, assisting the support team with cloud-specific requests, and working with advanced hardware like GPUs and high-speed interconnects, as well as software technologies such as parallel file-systems, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Jupyter, and Ceph.
