Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least five years of directly relevant work experience, including a minimum of two years of leadership experience in Visual Merchandising within a retail urban environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills and compelling presentation skills
  • Agile, flexible, and creative thinker
  • Proficient in office software such as Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Some travel required for market visits and select door opening setup
  • Passionate about Jordan and basketball, and familiar with Jordan and hoops culture
  • Familiar with English and able to write/speak fluently

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of holistic Jordan-only concept and Jordan/Basketball in-concept visual merchandising strategies to elevate the consumer experience
  • Create seasonal campaign toolkits that can be scaled across various cities in China, including future seasonal VM big ideas
  • Work with Jordan brand functions, squads, retail brand teams, and Global teams to ensure VM directives meet business needs consistently
  • Coach, mentor, and lead a team of assessment managers across the marketplace, focusing on maximizing their potential and supporting career development
  • Develop long- and short-term Visual Merchandising concept strategies and plans to deliver the marketplace vision for Jordan/hoops concept in Greater China
  • Create GC frameworks, plans, and tools by concept and front-of-pack (FOP)
  • Cooperate with merchandising on assortment strategies and opportunities
  • Reset and pilot projects for Jordan/hoops/BB through Visual Merchandising from consumer insights
  • Redefine and prioritize concept team responsibilities based on current team capabilities and strategic focus
  • Set and lead the vision for the Retail Lab of the future to support the shape of the season by driving innovative product and consumer experiences for city clusters
  • Define clear working processes with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth operations
  • Deliver VM Jordan, Hoops, BB in-concept directives by seasonal flow
  • Kick off CLC projects, conduct zoning reviews, and express clear points of view or suggestions from VM expertise
  • Work closely with the Global team to turn directives into decks and download them to city teams
  • Enhance the direction and execution of top doors
