Requirements

Candidates should have a Master's or PhD degree in computer science or a related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience. Fluency in modern C++ standards, programming, and software design principles is required, along with strong knowledge of algorithmic design, implementation, and optimization. Responsibilities

The Senior/Staff Software Engineer will work closely with Prediction and Planner teams to integrate advanced ML models and develop first-principles based safeguards for trustworthy prediction and decision making. They will inform and guide the development of new ML models and address issues in the model and data pipelines. The engineer will design interfaces between prediction and planning, creating abstraction layers for modular integration of machine learned components. They will create algorithmic improvements to driving behavior and implement those changes in the code base, facilitating collaborations between prediction data/modeling teams and planning and control teams to deliver architectural changes.
