Extensive experience managing and leading engineers is required, alongside fluency in Python and standard scientific computing libraries, and a track record of designing, developing, and deploying ML solutions for autonomous vehicles or robotics. Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles, including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, and testing methods, is also necessary.
As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer - Team Lead, you will define and execute motion planning and prediction projects to improve self-driving vehicles’ capabilities, lead, manage, and grow a team of engineers, design and lead the implementation of behavior models leveraging machine learning advancements, productionize and deploy solutions onto autonomous vehicle fleets, and collaborate with various teams to validate and enhance on-road performance. You will also communicate strategies, progress, and challenges to executive leadership.
