Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on robotics and reinforcement learning. Strong programming skills in Python are required, along with experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch. Familiarity with robotics concepts, sensor fusion, and state estimation is also necessary, as is the ability to work with multimodal sensor data.

Responsibilities

As a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will design and implement machine learning solutions for Dexterity’s robotics stack, including perception, decision-making, and action scoring. You will own the full ML development cycle, from data curation and labeling to model deployment and iteration. You will collaborate with robotics, data platform, and simulation teams to integrate ML into real-time robotic systems, and build data flywheels to improve model performance and reliability. Additionally, you will work on improving packing algorithms, solving logistics tasks, and building models that understand physics and geometry for various robotic applications, ensuring reproducibility and traceability across the ML pipeline.
