Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • Proven record of leading and implementing Lean and CI projects, delivering real, quantifiable improvements
  • Strong understanding of Lean tools (e.g. VSM, Kaizen, SMED etc.)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (Master Black Belt a plus)
  • Experience setting up new CI programs or frameworks from the ground up

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations, analysis, and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve lead time, productivity, first pass yield, and cost performance
  • Manage and deliver significant improvement projects through the PMO, ensuring results are both measurable and sustainable
  • Lead value stream mapping (VSM) and lean lighthouse projects that align with site and business strategy
  • Partner closely with engineering, quality, and operations to support technology development, process optimization, and automation initiatives
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for Industrial Engineering
  • Provide development and guidance in problem solving for assigned co-op, technicians and engineers
  • Support and lead Kaizen and waste elimination projects that deliver meaningful value to the business
  • Guide teams in Lean fundamentals, VSM, SMED, and work measurement techniques, ensuring improvements stick
  • Collaborate on layout design and process changes to ensure alignment with Lean principles and optimised flow
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross-divisional CI initiatives
  • Provide technical and cultural leadership in promoting a continuous improvement mindset across teams
