Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of combined frontline general ledger accounting or corporate reporting experience (public accounting experience preferred)
  • CPA preferred (MBA preferred)
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Macros experience a plus
  • Experience with SAP or similar general ledger applications
  • Experience with HFM preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the monthly financial close and reporting process
  • Prepare and produce accrual journal entries
  • Prepare management financial packages, including financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting analytics
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts; confirm balances prior to final submission
  • Reconcile Fixed Asset and AR subledgers
  • Fill out sundry invoices
  • Analyze overhead activity on a weekly basis and post adjusting journal entries
  • Communicate and follow up with intercompany partners to ensure that open/outstanding issues are solved in a timely manner
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives
