- Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics, wiring, and generator control systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and three-phase equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs for accurate troubleshooting
- Experience managing inventory, ordering parts, and tracking maintenance expenses
- Demonstrated skills in mentoring and supervising associates to ensure quality and safety compliance
- Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations and commitment to maintaining regulatory standards
- Generator maintenance & Transfer switch experience (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities equipment and fixtures
- Inspect, clean, and repair equipment, documenting signs of wear and recommending repairs or replacements
- Conduct major and minor electrical repairs
- Oversee and mentor junior associates, providing onsite training and evaluating skill development
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor compliance with quality and safety standards
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company policies while maintaining accurate records and budget information
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to support operational goals
