The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail, is also necessary. Desirable qualifications include industry certifications like CISSP or SANS, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or information technology (Master's degree preferred), and proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Flexibility to work weekends and provide coverage during US morning hours is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist will perform deep technical analysis of suspicious activity using various collection platforms and intelligence sources, including the darkweb. They will analyze and interpret telemetry using proprietary and open-source intelligence to produce informative products, briefs, reports, and indicators of compromise. Responsibilities include configuring and optimizing threat monitoring systems, documenting findings, and recommending remediation actions to technical professionals. The role involves providing actionable intelligence reports, identifying and implementing new analysis techniques, detecting threats beyond common tool capabilities, and reducing false positives/negatives. Additionally, the specialist will improve detection logic for advanced threats, implement automation solutions for workflow efficiency, and proactively analyze issues to generate ideas and initiate action while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
