Requirements

Candidates must be located in or near Tokyo, Japan, and possess 3-5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space. Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills are needed for complex assignments. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Japanese (fluent) and English are essential. A technical mindset and a desire for technical growth are required, with coding bootcamp, post-sales, or engineering experience being advantageous.

Responsibilities

Solutions Engineers will partner with the Sales team to communicate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. They will own technical engagements, close opportunities through competitive knowledge and technical skill, and deliver product presentations. Responsibilities include providing feedback on products and the competitive landscape through proactive customer communication, driving product conversations based on customer needs, and contributing to documentation, blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles.
