Candidates should have 7-8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, with a master's in Data Science or Business Administration as a plus. Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python is required, along with a broad range of experience in large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies. Extensive experience in the Australian Federal Public Sector is necessary, and familiarity with GSIs such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Senior Solution Engineer will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, work hands-on with customers to demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology, and navigate winning sales cycles. They will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake's offerings and maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies.
