Requirements

  • MSEE/MSCE or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of validation experience
  • Over 5 years of proven experience in Software Quality Engineering & Storage system verification, including significant contributions to QA strategies and test documentation
  • Proven expertise in Test Framework & automation scripts development, CI/CD experience using Python, SHELL, Ansible, Git & Jenkins, docker containers & Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of system-level debugging and analysis tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to participate in cross-functional quality initiatives & cross-collaboration with Dev & Product Management teams to understand specification
  • Excellent design, debugging and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for action, quality and engineering excellence
  • Experience in using AI coding assistants to improve coding efficiency and correctness

  • Experience with GPU server architecture and storage validation in Datacenter infrastructure
  • Hands on & expertise with Kubernetes, Docker containers & Jenkins pipelines
  • Certifications in storage (e.g., SNIA) or HPC systems or Storage Performance experience with mdtest or FIO tool

Responsibilities

  • Developing new and extending existing test strategies & executing to guarantee the highest level of quality from both functional and performance perspectives
  • Designing and developing software that automates the verification of all Data Center Scale infrastructure components using Python
  • Validation of distributed Storage systems (e.g., Lustre) on AI/HPC Datacenter scale infrastructure
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams including application teams, HW designers, networking team, FW, security etc. to debug any HW/SW product issues
  • Debug, triage issues, perform root cause analysis, verify fixes, define new tests, and improve product test plans
  • Analyzing and root-causing issues down to the code level, leading the defect fixing process, and bug life cycle management
