Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Expert-level knowledge and experience in machine learning, with a proven track record of developing and deploying deep learning solutions using PyTorch, Tensorflow, or similar frameworks is required. Experience in developing perception systems using sensors such as Camera, Radar, and LiDAR, strong experience in computer vision, perception, and point cloud processing, and proven experience in shipping computer vision software products to industry or consumers are essential. A minimum of 5 years of development experience in Python/C++ environments is also necessary. A Ph.D. with a machine learning focus or equivalent experience and experience developing and deploying temporal computer vision models are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will develop spatio-temporal machine learning models for detection and multi-sensor fusion, and segmentation. They will read literature, analyze raw data, and design state-of-the-art solutions, transitioning them from the lab to production-level implementation on test tracks and public roads. Collaboration with perception experts and roboticists on algorithm design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and productization is key. The role involves building and maintaining industry-leading software practices and principles, developing clean and efficient software for perception modules, and showing initiative in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
