Requirements

  • Expertise in multiple extensibility SDKs using Java, Kotlin, Typescript, C# (and more) for widely adopted and up-and-coming IDEs
  • Ability to lead specifications, write code and tests, mentor squad members (through code review, pair programming, and coaching), and participate in roadmap definition and planning
  • Knowledge of the latest tools and techniques for AI-assisted coding and assessing AI-generated code, with ability to share findings and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Join the IDE Experience squad and contribute to the development of SonarQube for IDE extensions across all supported IDEs
  • Help expand support to new tools and ways of writing code
  • Design and deliver features that ensure human and AI-generated code meets quality and security standards within popular IDEs
  • Become an expert on IDE extensibility SDKs and push the boundaries of their APIs
  • Keep up with latest tools and techniques for AI-assisted coding and assessing AI-generated code, sharing findings and best practices
