Responsibilities

Ensure our production systems are always available, secure, and scalable
Work closely with the engineering team to deploy services across different environments
Scale our infrastructure to handle increased traffic and capacity during peak times
Suggest improvements to our architecture and processes to make things even better
Maintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline that enables faster and safer software delivery
Develop and maintain tools and infrastructure that are shared across product and engineering teams
Monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and take action to ensure systems meet our Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
Participate in an on-call rotation to quickly address and resolve critical production issues
Lead efforts to improve processes and automation, reducing manual work and enhancing operational health
Continuously improve our existing systems and tools, including testing, monitoring, alerting, security, and release processes
Collaborate with other engineering teams to design reliable and maintainable systems
Help define and share standards, guidelines, and best practices for infrastructure management
