About your Team

The Payments Infrastructure pod manages all aspects of payment processing, financial transactions, and third-party integrations on a global scale. The team ensures the payment platform remains operational, supports diverse global payment methods, and continuously modernizes integrations to enhance efficiency and reliability.

What is the Role?

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Payments Infrastructure pod. You will work remotely with Teachable’s US-based teams and Hotmart employees in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo. This role involves multiple projects focused on backend development, delivering high-traffic applications, and ensuring thorough testing. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle. The team encourages collaboration, idea sharing, and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Write secure, efficient, and high-quality code adhering to best practices (e.g., encryption, input validation).
  • Develop scalable and reusable code, including creating reusable libraries and components.
  • Participate in the entire development lifecycle.

  • Ability to work remotely with teams in Brazil and the US.
