Candidates must possess a BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications. They should have at least 3 years of experience working with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table datasets, 3 years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker, and 3 years of experience coaching other engineers.
The Senior Software Engineer II - AI/ML will maintain, improve, and expand web applications and data pipelines, developing and implementing scalable and performant solutions. They will partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews. Responsibilities also include improving AI/ML infrastructure for model development, training, and deployment, designing multi-year visions for generative AI areas, architecting systems to enhance AI model capabilities, and designing prompt engineering strategies. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify applied AI use cases, analyzing product usage patterns for data-driven decisions, maintaining patient health information security and regulatory compliance, and contributing to the development of APIs for AI integration into healthcare systems.
