5+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience
Passionate about elements of the tech stack (ReactJS, Java, Datadog, REST / GRPC, Kafka, K8s, AWS)
Excited to work with stakeholders across engineering, product, business, and marketing
Desire to become a product domain expert and refine ambiguous product requirements to deliver customer value
Strong communication skills
Ability to build and own work end-to-end

Energized by solving deep problems collaboratively and transitioning between Solver and Tech Lead roles

Responsibilities

Shape the next generation of ownership management products
Work closely with product, design, and go-to-market teams
Collaborate directly with top-tier Private Equity firms and enterprise-scale clients to understand their needs
Build flexible and scalable data models supporting distinct product experiences for LLC-structured companies and diverse asset classes
Implement robust access control and tailored experiences for different user personas and permissions
Work with product managers and designers to understand customer motivations (why), define scope (what), and build solutions (how)
Contribute to scaling the Carta LLC product across Private Equity portfolios and expanding ownership management workflows
