Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend, infrastructure, or SRE. Deep, hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is required. Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi, solid understanding of CI/CD systems, and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Go, Python, or Bash are necessary. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will evolve CI/CD platforms with a focus on infrastructure automation and security, and design, build, and maintain core cloud infrastructure on GCP. They will develop and manage the container orchestration platform (Kubernetes), implement and manage Infrastructure as Code, and autonomously lead multi-month infrastructure projects. Responsibilities also include collaborating with product engineering teams, championing best practices for cloud security and system reliability, and contributing to the team's roadmap and strategy.
