Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Position Overview

Tekmetric is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions and meeting customer needs. This is an opportunity to influence product development within a growing team, collaborating closely with engineers, product, and design. The ideal candidate possesses prior development experience in Javascript, React, and Redux.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable frontend solutions that enable positive user experiences.
  • Participate in architectural discussions.
  • Consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.
  • Help define and improve internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
  • Collaborate with and across agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions.
  • Ensure application performance and scalability, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new feature development.
  • Operate in a fast-moving environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Javascript, Typescript, and React (required).
  • Experience with a global state management framework (Redux).
  • Experience styling a theme and component-based web application.
  • Familiarity with relational databases.
  • Experience developing and deploying production-ready software, preferably SaaS.
  • Expertise in Agile principles.
  • Strong written communication skills.
