Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. They should possess experience designing robust and scalable APIs, building and maintaining high-performance services, and proficiency in a strongly-typed backend language such as Go, Java, Typescript, or Rust. Experience building, monitoring, and managing distributed systems at scale is required, with bonus points for experience with Apache Solr or Apache Lucene. Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design and build new data management capabilities and features that automatically identify, label, and provide semantic meaning to raw user event data. They will create and manage services to make instrumentation irrelevant and develop features that move towards a zero-configuration future for customer data analysis. This role involves partnering with product and design counterparts to propose new solutions, collaborating with engineering peers through design discussions and code reviews, and owning the operational health of built features by monitoring services and resolving issues.
