Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 Years of Relevant automotive software experience
  • Experience with developing embedded real-time applications in C and C++ for ECU in vehicles
  • Experience with AUTOSAR and configuration tools: Vector, Davinci Developer Configurator
  • Experience with build systems Bazel and Cmake
  • Experience with development of software in embedded Linux and ROS framework environment
  • Experience with Infineon Aurix Tricore microcontrollers and debugging tool Lauterbach Trace32
  • Experience with in-vehicle networks and analysis tools: Vector Canalyzer, Canoe
  • Strong knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229) diagnostics
  • Experience with safety critical systems with real time constraints and ISO26262

Responsibilities

  • Perform various software development and engineering activities supporting the delivery of autonomy algorithm software to the overall system solution within autonomy software algorithms components
  • Perform software development activities such as software architecture, design, coding, unit testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance within assigned autonomy algorithms software component
  • Develop, implement, and test autonomy algorithms in the areas of active sensing and information fusion
  • Develop perception algorithms to detect and perceive objects for Torc’s autonomous driving systems, allowing the system to understand and react to the environment around the vehicle in real-time
  • Create software to utilize algorithms that use sensor data from LiDAR, RADAR, and cameras to detect, classify, segment, and track obstacles in the vehicle's surrounding environment
  • Create situational awareness for behaviors and path planning teams to make vehicle decisions to navigate safely
