Requirements

Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Experience with advanced software development in large-scale, highly available, distributed systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A steadfast commitment to ownership, ensuring that deliverables consistently meet high standards of quality and performance
Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience using assertion frameworks and tools to automate regression tests
Prior experience working on data intensive applications and/or data streams processing
Experience working remotely across timezones

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize software for data collection agents that run across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments
Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and fellow engineers to translate feature requirements into intuitive, high-performance user experiences
Own the development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and maintenance
Develop automated tests and comprehensive test plans to ensure high quality code and product features that work as expected
Help maintain and support our SaaS products, including periodic participation in our 24x7 on-call rotations
Participate in on-call rotations and be available for stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
Troubleshoot and debug technical challenges to resolve issues efficiently
Ensure deliverables consistently meet high standards of quality and performance
Communicate complex technical topics to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
