Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with over 5 years of experience in architecting distributed systems from concept to deployment. Essential skills include exceptional Python programming, proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL, and experience with data stores like Icerberg, Trino, BigQuery, StarRocks, and Citus. Familiarity with data pipeline tools such as Airflow and DBT, data processing technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Flink, and cloud deployment tools including Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog is also required.
The Senior Software Engineer will build highly reliable data services for integrating with multiple blockchains and develop complex ETL pipelines for real-time data transformation and processing at petabyte scale. Responsibilities include designing intricate data models for optimal storage and retrieval, overseeing the deployment and monitoring of large database clusters with a focus on performance and high availability, and collaborating with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to implement novel data models that enhance TRM's products.
