The Opportunity

Join a small, high-performing team at Trumid, where your work as a Python Software Engineer will directly shape the future of our trading platform. Collaborate with top engineers, data scientists, and quants to build scalable analytics systems, optimize real-time trading, and deploy machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain real-time, scalable systems for trading and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models and algorithms into production.
  • Lead the software development lifecycle, focusing on speed, scalability, and security.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.

About You

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on Python.
  • Strong skills in Python and a compiled language (e.g., C++, Java).
  • Experience with distributed systems, Docker, databases (relational/NoSQL), and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in financial markets or low-latency trading systems.
  • Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, and machine learning.

Salary Information

In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $200,000 and $250,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation. Please note that the salary range listed for this position is based on the level of experience outlined in the job description. If a candidate's experience differs from the requirements, the salary may be adjusted accordingly.
